Susan Budd is a Los Angles-based architect and artist.
Her modernist architectural practice explores the experiential aspects of design—a philosophy rooted in how humans occupy and interact with the built environment. Splitting her time between her native New England and her adopted California, her painting practice explores varied moments of friction between human intervention and the natural world. She is also interested in the ephemeral, cyclical nature of flora and humanity's failure to subdue nature.
